Brazil - 86 young people reflect on the centrality of Jesus in their lives
Porto Velho, Brazil - April 2022 – On 3 April, the Salesian parish of "Our Lady of Fatima", of Porto Velho, belonging to the Province of Brazil-Manaus (BMA), promoted an event of reflection and spirituality for young parishioners. 86 young people took part in the meeting, many of them university students who participated in a pastoral event for the first time. The Eucharist marked the opening of the meeting, which continued with the development of the theme of the centrality of Jesus in the lives of young people, by the parish priest, Fr Sérgio Lúcio. Moments of reflection, prayer, songs, praise, and dynamics followed. Fr Nilson Cruz, Rector of the Salesian community, finally addressed words of encouragement to the participants so that all commit themselves to live the time of Holy Week well.
