Spain - Formative meeting for Salesians of five-year term of SSM Province: "The affective life of the consecrated person"
Alzuza, Spain - March 2022 - From March 18 to 20, the annual formative meeting of the quinquennium was held for the young Salesians of the "St James the Greater" (SSM) Province. The following took part in the formation (in the photo from left to right): Fr Manuel Ramos, Fr Germán Rivas, Fr Juan José Bartolomé (Delegate for Formation of the SSM province), José Luis Gallego, Fr Fabrice Pubu (ACS), Manuel Rupérez, Fr Ramón Ariza and Fr Koldo Gutiérrez (responsible for providing the formation). It was a time of formation animated by Fr Bartolomé, with the presence of Fr Gutiérrez, who presented the main theme for reflection "The affective life of the consecrated person", based on one of the texts of Msgr Uriarte. The theme revolved between sharing experiences in the exercise of the ministry, moments of prayer and lectio divina, and dialogue and reflection on the difficulties of the early years of the priesthood. Fr Gutiérrez said that reflecting on what has been experienced gives the keys to continuing to grow vitally and spiritually. And doing everything in an atmosphere of communication, prayer, and relaxation, ensures that the formation touches all instances of the human being, not only the intellectual and planning, but also the existential and vital, enlightened by faith and the word of God.
