Each one presented their reflections, underlining the charismatic and contextualized dimension in the educative proposal of Vocational Training Centres. After each presentation there was interaction and dialogue. Soon, the content will be available for the animation of educators of TVET centres.
Some of the significant points that emerged in the sharing are:
· Some of the attributes of a spiritual person in the Indian context are: service towards mankind, feeling of peace, inter-connectedness, respect for others and self-awareness. (DB Tech India)
· The attitude in the Salesian workplace in the ASEAN context must be a great amount of openness, humility and listening to other cultures to have an open dialogue of shared values and tradition. (DB Tech ASEAN)
· The search for meaning is the greatest guarantee of success for the student, that it provides the added value of personal solvency that the company seeks, with increasing force. (Tech Don Bosco)
· Vocational training, requires educators and projects that are highly committed not only in the professional field, but also in the social and vocational fields. (DB Tech America)
· Africa is a continent permeated with strong religious beliefs. We need to exploit the “religiosity” of the people to transform them into “spiritual persons”. Our TVET institutions can be agents of this transformation. (DB Tech Africa)
