San José, Costa Rica - March 2022 - The groups of the Salesian Family of Costa Rica gathered in the church of San José to experience the spiritual retreat in preparation for Lent. Nearly one hundred members of the SF participated in attendance at the event, which was broadcast live on the Facebook page "Familiasalesianacostarica". The welcome was by Fr Guido Maroto, National Delegate for the Salesian Family, and Sister Aracelly Mayorga, FMA, who animated the prayer space to start the day. Then Fr Javier Rivas, Provincial Vicar and Provincial Delegate for Formation, shared the main theme "Life in God". To complete the formative space, the participants did group work to present their concerns and discuss their commitment from the Rector Major's Strenna 2022 "Do all through love, nothing by constraint", and Fr Rivas' reflections. The day concluded with another time of prayer, a penitential liturgy of Reconciliation and Holy Mass.
