Barcelona, Spain - March 2022 - At the Salesian house of Martí Codolar, in Barcelona, from 4 to 6 March, the meeting of the Formators of the Salesian Provinces "Saint James the Greater" and "Mary Help of Christians" of Spain and “St Anthonyn” from Portugal took place. 15 Salesians dedicated to the Formation of the various Provincial Commissions or those responsible for Salesians in formation in the stages of the post-novitiate, the theologate or training participated. The topic dealt with the document “Initial formation in a time of abuse”, presented by the Italian Episcopal Conference, and disseminated during the Iberian Conference in September 2021 in Lisbon.  The participants deepened the document with reading, reflection and sharing. The work was presented by Samuel Segura and among the proposals in common there were concrete commitments that emerged and to be applied to the various formation commissions.
