Antofagasta, Chile - February 2022 - The Coordinating Councils of the "Don Bosco" schools of Antofagasta and Calama met on 23 February with the aim of continuing the task of evangelizing and educating the children and young people of the region through the analysis of strategies aimed at improving and consolidating the management and the respective pastoral educational projects. The activity began with a welcome and prayer by the Coordinator of the Evangelization Area, Fr José Chaf, and continued with the presentation of the Rector Major's Strenna 2022 on the theme "Do all through love, nothing through constraint" - and the guidelines of the mission, by Fr Juan Bustamante, SDB, Rector of the “Don Bosco” of Antofagasta. Then the Rectors and Coordinators of the two schools shared their experiences and answered some questions relating to the role played by each and the focus of the main challenges. After a visit to the various structures of the “Don Bosco” school in Antofagasta, the meeting continued with a work in which each management team examined the strategies and agreements for animation and coordination.
