India – Prize awarded to the Salesian founder and director of I-CARD
New Delhi, India – July 25th, 2016 – Fr. K. A. Thomas, sdb, founder and director of the Institute of Culture and Rural Development (I-CARD), Jorhat, has been given the “Jewel of India Gold Medal Award”, and a Certificate of Excellence from the International Institute of Education and Management (IIEM) of New Delhi. Fr. Thomas was awarded the prize by Dr. Bhishmanarayan Singh, former governor of Assam, with the motivation: for the excellent services rendered for the development of the community.
