La Ceja, Colombia - January 2022 - On 25 January, at the Salesian novitiate "Sacred Heart of Jesus" of La Ceja, the ceremony of delivering the Salesian Constitutions to the novices and the installation of their Master, Fr Juan Pablo Alcas, took place. The celebration was presided over by Fr Luis Fernando Valencia, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Medellín (COM), who recalled the commitment that Salesians in-formation must have in this very important stage. He also emphasized that being able to accomplish this formative stage in this 2022, under the banner of the 400th anniversary of the death of St. Francis de Sales and the motto of the Strenna "Do all through love, nothing through constraint", already constitutes a good premise for living a beautiful novitiate experience.
