India - Zinho Fernandes wins DBGYFF Jury Prize for the music video "Listen"
Panjim, India - December 2021 - Zinho Fernandes, from Sao Jose de Areal, Goa, won the jury prize for the music video entitled "Listen" at the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival which ended on 19 November 2021 in Valdocco, Italy. A member of the "Don Bosco Youth Services" of the Salesian Province of Panjim (INP), Zinho Fernandes received the award in a virtual ceremony accompanied by Fr Jason Coelho, Director of the "DBYS". The Rector Major of the Salesian Congregation, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, congratulated and thanked Zinho during the award ceremony. Zinho conceptualized his first music video during the lockdown caused by the pandemic. “I thought about creating a song to give hope to young people in these troubled times, and the song revolves around faith in God,” Zinho said. The entire video was shot with a cell phone and edited by Leander, Zinho’s brother. The video also features: sound engineer Danver Godinho, the singer Princeton Colaco, and choreographer Rohan Raikar with dancers Berny Dias, Jocelyn Godinho, Sankalp Gadekar, and Leander.
