Papua New Guinea - Understanding other cultures through music
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - July 2016 - On 13 July, the German accordion group called "Accordion Harmonists", arrived at the airport in Port Moresby for a concert tour organized by Salesian Brother Reto Wanner. The group was founded by Volkmar Thermer, with the aim of studying and understanding other cultures through music. The opening concert was performed at the Don Bosco Technological Institute in the presence of the German Consul in Papua New Guinea, Eberhard Pfeiffer. On the following days the group was involved in concerts at other Salesian schools of the PGS Vice-Province
