Hyderabad, India - 6 September 2021 - The Councilor for the South Asia Region, Fr Biju Michael, has begun the consultations for the next Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad (INH). Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, INH Provincial, welcomed the Regional Councilor and his secretary, Fr Felix Serrao. Fr Michael will meet the Salesians in the various places designated in the territorial area of the INH Province, in three Indian states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and southern Orissa. The first stage of the consultation began at the Provincial House, with 50 Salesians, who in addition to indicating the names of the candidates, discussed in groups the strengths and areas for improvement, the opportunities and challenges of the INH Province of today, and proposed a vision of the Province for the next six years. The Regional Councilor thanked Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar for the animation and government of the last six years, imploring God's blessing on him, for his availability, generosity and dedication. He also thanked his close associates.
