Rwanda – Children’s right to participation: that children be seen and heard
Muhazi, Rwanda - June 2016 - To celebrate World Day of the African Child on Saturday 18 June, the Salesian centre at Muhazi hosted an event to reflect on youth, entitled "Children’s right to participation: that children be seen and heard." At the event there were numerous artistic performances by young people. It was attended by about 600 children and teenagers, in addition to the Provincial of the Africa Great Lakes Vice-Province, Fr Camiel Swertvagher, and the ambassadors of Belgium and the European Union in Rwanda.
