Kenya - Training workshop on Quality Management Systems of Salesian Vocational Training Centers
Nairobi, Kenya - June 2021 - 37 people from 14 Provinces of the Africa-Madagascar Region took part from 7 to 11 June in a training workshop for the development of skills for Salesian Vocational Training Centers managers on the theme "Quality Management". The aim of the course was to make the participants responsible for the aspects of quality management systems based on the "ISO-9001: 2015 Standard", so that everyone works in their province by developing and implementing quality management systems in their respective VTCs. The “Don Bosco Tech Africa” (DBTA), the coordinating body of the Salesian Vocational Centers of the Region, is firmly convinced that the development of skills and the strengthening of the management staff of the VCFs is an essential aspect of sustainable development. Formation was led by Mr. Wafula Rombisa; at the end of the workshop, the participants received a certificate.
