India - Sacred Heart College students trained as Scouts and Adult Guides
Tirupattur, India - March 2021 - A week of leadership training for Scouts and Adult Guides began on March 4th among the students of the Master in Social Work of the “Sacred Heart College” of Tirupattur. The camp saw the participation of 23 Rangers, 21 Rovers, 29 Scouts and 25 Guides and provided training ideas on the topics: Pioneering, Philosophy of Scouting, Mapping, Crafts, Exercise and First Aid. Through the training program, suggestions were given for achieving a healthy and balanced life, for married life, for a good career path and for becoming honest citizens and protagonists in society. At the end of the week, Fr John Alex, director of the “Sacred Heart College”, presented the prizes and certificates to the participants.
