Austria – VIS and DBI at the “Fundamental Rights Forum”
Vienna, Austria – June 2016 – The International Volunteer Service for Development (VIS) and the Don Bosco International (DBI) take part from June 20th to 23rd in the “Fundamental Rights Forum”, with 650 participants of 40 countries, 130 international experts and 28 workshops. Four days of intensive work on the most pressing challenges to human rights at European and global level: inclusion, protection of refugees and digital era accompanied by policies based on rights, strengthening of rights holders and of fundamental rights in keeping with sustainable growth. The opening of the works was entrusted to the Austrian President, dr. Heinz Fischer, and to the Vice-President of theEuropean Commission, Frans Timmermans.
