Rukago, Burundi - January 2021 - In the Salesian parish of Rukago, after the feast of the Epiphany, the work of announcing the birth of Jesus to the people continued through the various groups called "Singers of the Star". Each branch has its own group of young “Star Singers”, well established and organized, who circulate among all the families, announcing that Jesus was born and has come to live among us. Wherever they go, people admire this beautiful initiative and rejoice when they see the children who too announce the Good News of Salvation. Despite the great distances they have to travel, the "Singers of the Star" never tire, because they know very well that their reward will be Heaven.
