Hungary - Two Hungarian animators made their Perpetual Profession as Salesians
Nyergesújfalu, Hungary - August 2020 - Jani Áron, SDB, and Kovács Sándor, SDB, made their perpetual profession on 15 August 2020 in the parish of St. Michael, in the city of Nyergesújfalu, Hungary. Fr Andrásfalvy János, SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hungary, was the main celebrant and received the perpetual vows of the two Salesians. Jani Áron made his religious profession as a Salesian brother following in the footsteps of Blessed Stephen Sándor. The perpetual profession took place for the first time in the parish, which celebrates the 300th year of its foundation; the Salesians took over the parish from 1 August 2020. It is even more exciting to note that the two new confreres were once Salesian animators and their contribution as animators has been greatly acknowledged by the Province of Hungary.
