Italy – Summer Youth Camp at Don Bosco Naples has started
Naples, Italy - June 2020 - On June 22, after 105 days, the gates of the Salesian Don Bosco Institute in Naples for young people in the neighborhood finally reopened. The lockdown, however, did not stop the work of the many educators and volunteers of the Salesian Institute who during these months, through social networks and digital platforms, followed young people who often live in difficult family contexts. On June 22, an educational action was restarted through the summer project "The Dream Network - #ogunoalsuoposto", 4 weeks of activity in 3 time slots with around 300 young people involved. Two triage stations were placed at the entrance and several hand hygiene stations placed. Each participant was provided with a protective mask, designed and purchased thanks to Salesians for the Social APS with the support of a Neapolitan donor who for years has supported young people in difficulty.
