Reminding the world of violations of religious freedom

Yesterday, 22 November, numerous monuments around the world were dyed red, to remind the world of violations of religious freedom. The initiative, called "Red Wednesday", is part of the so-called "Red Week", promoted by the pontifical foundation "Aid to the Church that suffers" (ACS).

The statue of Mary Help of Christians venerated by St John Bosco and St Louis Orione

There is a statue of Mary Help of Christians which was venerated by two saints: Saint John Bosco and Saint Louis Orione. This is the first statue of the Help of Christians that Don Bosco had in Valdocco and which now belongs to the family of Fr Orione.
