Salesian Formation in Pakistan

According to the Salesian Constitutions (art. 22) "every call manifests that the Lord loves the Congregation, wants it to be alive for the good of His Church and does not cease to enrich it with new apostolic energies".

Despite the numerous challenges imposed by the current pandemic, the Salesian community of Lahore looks to the future with faith and optimism.

Africa - Pre-novices and novice

Currently, the 4 prenovices of Lahore are being formed in the community of Lilongwe (ZMB), while the only novice is in the novitiate of Sunyiani, in Ghana.

Europe - Student of theology

The first-year theologian confrere, on the other hand, is currently in Italy, in the international community of Crocetta, to prepare for the priesthood.

Asia - Aspirants

There are three aspirants in Lahore. The Salesian future of Pakistan is therefore distributed between Africa, Asia and Europe.
