(ANS - Manzini) - Swaziland is a country nestled between South Africa and Mozambique, with the highest rate in the world infected with HIV and 69,000 AIDS patients in a million inhabitants. According to the annual report of the United Nations, it is considered "the least healthy country in the world." And in this little portion of the world, the Salesians continue their mission to put into practice the message of Christ.
(ANS - Brussels) - As part of the Annual Convention on Inclusive Growth held in Brussels on 21 March, Don Bosco International supported the presentation of the project "Tea with Adilah", organized by the "Santa Chiara" Oratory in Palermo, which belongs to the SCS (Salesian in Social Work) Federation. The President of the Federation, Fr Giovanni d'Andrea was present for the occasion.
(ANS - Bogotá) - Fr Saverio (Javier) de Nicolò was a man greatly in love with his missionary adventure. The decision to leave his homeland brought him to Colombia and in October 1949 he landed at Buenaventura. He was 21 years old and spoke only Italian, but he had a determination to live up to his resolution: "the best experience in the world is to serve humanity." He died in Bogota on 22 March 2016.

Spain – 2024 Pastoral and Theological Updating(ANS – Santiago de Compostela) – The two Provinces of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Spain, Saint James the Greater (SSM) and Mary Help of Christians (SMX), are organising their Theological and Pastoral Updating meetings this year for the second part of July. This is an event that has become traditional, organised by the Formation Delegates of both Provinces, and aimed mainly at cultivating spirituality and ongoing formation among Salesians throughout the country.

Peru – From dreams to jungle: a spiritual and cultural journey in the unknown Kuyuntsa(ANS - Kuyuntsa) – Several decades ago, young Salesian missionary Luis (Luigi) Bolla left his life in Italy, driven by an inner voice that called him to explore lands unknown to him, but known to God. As of August 16, the day on which we commemorate Don Bosco’s birth (August 16, 1815), my service as Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco ends. There’s always a reason to give thanks, always. Thank you! Thank you—to God, above all, to the Congregation and Salesian Family, to so many dear people, and to so many friends of Don Bosco’s charism, many of them benefactors.
