Farnières, Belgiun – 1929 – The entrance to the horticulture school in Farnières, Grand-Halleux, run by the Salesians. The Farnières building was completed in 1929 at the request of Baron Fernand Orban de Xivry and is the work of architect Octave Flanneau. Arcose stone, a type of stone typical of the region in which the building stands, was used to construct the façade.
(ANS – Rome) – "Salesians for Social", the non-profit organisation of the Salesians in Italy that manages the sector of educational poverty and youth hardship, has become an associative network: with the approval of the new statutes by the national assembly of associates, gathered in Rome on 7 and 8 June 2024, the association takes on a new role, with its 306 members and 70 associates.
(ANS – Rome) – The youngest participant in the "Return to the Sources Course" for elderly and long-term missionaries is 66-year-old Fr José Angel Rajoy Troitiño, born on Christmas Day 1957 in Caracas, Venezuela. However, his missionary life has continued for more than 30 years in Mozambique, a country where he has been able to find great joy through his service to young people in need, despite the difficulties and challenges that he has never lacked.
(ANS – Rome) – The Superiors of 8 Salesian Circumscriptions belonging to 4 Regions (Africa-Madagascar, America South Cone and East Asia-Oceania, and Mediterranean), are the recipients of the usual formation and orientation course that is being offered in these days in Rome, in parallel with the plenary session of the General Council of the Salesian Congregation. Speaking at the meeting, which began on the evening of Sunday 9 June 2024 and is scheduled to run until Monday 24 June, the Rector Major's Day of Recognition, were Card. Ángel Fernández Artime, 10th Successor of Don Bosco, the members of the General Council, with the those responsible for the different Sectors that animate Salesian Headquarters.
(ANS – Bangalore) – "BibleOn" is a digital application that allows access to the Bible in multiple languages around the world. Developed by Eloit Innovations based in Kochi, the result of an idea by Fr Madathiparambil and the CEO of Eloit Innovations, it allows readers to listen, read and deepen their knowledge of the Holy Scriptures in over 20 languages. But with the collaboration of the Salesian Family, it can do even more.
(ANS – Turin) – On 5 June 2024, the participants in the fourth level of the Salesianity Course concluded a 28-day journey through Italy, in the footsteps of St John Bosco. The experience was organised by the Salesian Centre for Ongoing Formation for America (CSFPA), based in Quito, Ecuador, and consisted of a pilgrimage through the places that preserve the memory of the life and work of Don Bosco, at the end of the four-year cycle of studies of the "Initiation into Salesianity" course.

(ANS - RMG) - Just a few days before the beginning of the 29th General Chapter (GC29) of the Salesian Congregation, Fr Alphonse Owoudou, Councillor for the Africa-Madagascar Region and Moderator of GC29, recounts in detail, through an articulate interview, the work preceding and underlying this responsibility, indicating the spirit that will animate it and the attitudes and conditions to make it truly a Cenacle in which the Holy Spirit can act, for the benefit of the Congregation, the Salesian mission and the youth of the world.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”
(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

Argentina – UNISAL Participates in the International Forum “Territories of the Future: South Atlantic and Antarctica”
(ANS – Río Grande) – From February 19 to 21, the cities of Río Grande, Tolhuin, and Ushuaia hosted the International Forum “Territories of the Future: South Atlantic and Antarctica”, organized by the University Network for the Care of the Common Home (RUC) and the Municipality of Río Grande, with support from the National University of Tierra del Fuego (UNTDF). The event brought together universities from Argentina, Latin America, and the Caribbean to discuss sustainability and conservation in these regions, with the Salesian University of Argentina (UNISAL) playing an important role.

United States – International Women's Day: Salesian Missions highlights educational programs that empower women and girls

This assembly, the most important one that the Congregation can experience, occurs every six years along the Salesian Congregation’s journey.
