Lisbon, Portugal - March 2019 - The fifth edition of the running event "Corrida Salesianos", organized by the "Fundação Salesianos", was held on 8 March, the date on which International Women's Day occurs, with the support of the municipality of Lisbon and with the technical organization of "Xistarca - Eventos Desportivos". To start the race, which was attended by 2,800 athletes, were Fr João Chaves, Provincial Vicar of Portugal, and Fr Álvaro Lago, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry. All proceeds from the registration fees will be donated to the social projects carried out by "Fundação Salesianos".
