India – National Workshop on Research Methodology and Proposals at Don Bosco College, Golaghat
Golaghat, India – March 2025 – Don Bosco College, Golaghat, belonging to the Salesian Province of Dimapur (IND), organized a National Workshop on Research Methodology and Proposals on March 11. The "Research & Publication Cell" organized the event in collaboration with the college's Department of Political Science at the "Manlio Research Centre." The workshop was attended by students, researchers, and academic professionals from over five colleges and universities.
It featured three technical sessions: Fr. Anto Paul, principal of the "North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research, Dimapur, Nagaland," discussed the basics of social science research; Professor Yatindra Singh Sisodia, director of the "Madhya Pradesh Institute of Social Science Research," elaborated on the fundamental principles of research and the development of effective research proposals; and Dr. Piyali Dutta, associate professor in the Department of Political Science, provided comprehensive guidance on writing review articles, publishing in journals and websites, and publishing ISBN books and research projects.
After a speech by Dr. Father A. Amaladoss, principal of Don Bosco College, Golaghat, Dr. Tapan Saikia, associate professor and research coordinator at Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, delivered the keynote address and launched his book "Empowering the Nation: Enhancing Financial Literacy for a Prosperous Future." Dr. Bulbuli Boruah, principal of "Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College," Golaghat, distributed certificates to the participants. Dr. Piyali Dutta, coordinator of the Don Bosco Research Cell and Publication, and Assistant Professor Mirghakhi Goswami, head of the Political Science Department at DBCG, coordinated the event.
