El Salvador – Salesian School Directors Gather for Key Planning Meeting
San Salvador, El Salvador – February 2025 – Convened by the Salesian School Network of El Salvador, around 25 principals and representatives from various Salesian educational institutions participated in an important animation and planning meeting at the Ricaldone Technical Institute in recent days. During the meeting, the new direction for school animation was presented, highlighting the transition from the entity previously known for over 25 years as "CERCA" to a new collaborative network approach. With this change, the organization adopts the name "Red de Escuelas Salesianas de Centroamérica" (Salesian School Network of Central America), reinforcing the shared commitment to Salesian education in the region. Additionally, the Strategic Plan of the Central Commission of Salesian Schools in America (ESA: ecole salesienne americaine – in spanish) was introduced, and key findings from the recent ESA V International Meeting were discussed. This meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Salesian educational communities in the region, promoting a holistic education based on quality, values, and Salesian charisma, for the benefit of children and young people.
