Spain – Campobosco 2025 Unites Over 350 Young People in El Campello for a Hopeful Future
El Campello, Spain – February 2025 – More than 350 young people gathered from February 7 to 9 at the Salesian center in El Campello (Alicante) to celebrate Campobosco 2025. This event, part of the Faith Education Program, annually brings together high school seniors from Salesian schools in the Valencian Community, Murcia, and Aragón.
The provincial theme, "We Are the Future", shaped the event’s motto: "Pilgrims of the Future." The event featured testimonies, formation activities, and vocational experiences focused on deepening understanding of life, faith, and the legacy of Don Bosco. The gathering opened with greetings from Segundo García, SDB (Event Coordinator) and Pablo Gómez, SDB (Youth Center Coordinator).
On Saturday evening, participants were divided into four groups based on their formation stage. In the morning, the first three groups explored Don Bosco's life, analyzing key figures, places, and objects from his journey. The fourth group engaged in a deeper reflection on faith and the Salesian way of life.
The event was attended by Salesians, youth leaders, and volunteers, with Fr. Fernando Navarro, SDB, leading the Sunday Eucharistic celebration, accompanied by Fr. Antonio Zaragoza, SDB, Director of the host Salesian community.
