Mexico - Curatorium of the Salesian Theologate in Tlaquepaque
Tlaquepaque, Mexico - January 2025 - The Curatorium of the Salesian Theologate at Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexicom a formation centre for Salesians aspiring to the priesthood, was held on Wednesday 29 January. The meeting was presided over by the Councillor for the Interamerica Region, Fr Hugo Orozco, with Fr Dominic Danh Cong Tran, Provincial of the United States East and Canada (SUE), Fr Filiberto González, Provincial of Guadalajara, Mexico (MEG), Fr Juan Aaron Cerezo, new Provincial of Mexico-Mexico (MEM); Formation Delegates Fr José Gallo (BOL), Travis Gunther, SDB (SUE), Fr Felipe Carranza (MEG), and Fr Carlos Barbosa (MEM); Provincial Economers, Fr Jorge Mejía (MEG) and Fr Juan Carlos Romero (MEM). Fr Morachel Bonhomme, Superior of the Haitian Vice-Province (HAI) and Fr Jesús Baltazar, Provincial Economer of the Antilles (ANT) participated online. The Theologate community was also present. During the meeting, the evaluation of the Community Life Project of the house, the academic report of the Salesian Higher Institute (ISS) and the various reports on the community's progress were examined.
