Hong Kong - February 2025 - 4 February marked the seventh day of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, in which the anniversary of the birth of every human person is traditionally celebrated. On this occasion, Fr Domingos Leong, CIN Provincial, led his confreres from Hong Kong and Macao in the celebration of Salesian Day 2025, held in the Provincial house in Hong Kong. After an initial time of discussion, reflection and conviviality, Fr Leong solemnly blessed the recently relocated and renovated Provincial Office, the Office of Youth Ministry and Social Communication, the Salesian Education Council and Central Secretariat, and the Salesian Spirituality Centre. He then led the evening prayer, with Adoration and Benedictionof the Blessed Sacrament. In conclusion, he encouraged those present to learn how to communicate, converse and use words better. He urged everyone to continue praying for the benefactors who made the renovation possible. Those present again gathered around the table for dinner, and then took part in fun and educational games, singing, exchange of gifts and blessings.
