Seoul, South Korea - January 2025 - On the feast of St Francis de Sales, 24 January, the Salesian Family in Korea once again celebrated the priestly ordination of Salesian Dominic Kim Hyun-ki with great joy on the seventh-floor chapel of the Salesian provincial house. The ordination Mass, celebrated by Bishop Lee Kyung-sang, Auxiliary Bishop of the Seoul Archdiocese, was concelebrated by Fr Marcellus Baek Kwang-hyun, KOR Provincial, and was attended by a large number of members of the Salesian Family and faithful from the parish of Seoul Hoehwa-dong, the new priest's home parish, about 500 people in all. In particular, a large number of young people from the Salesian Youth Centre in Daerim-dong, Seoul, where the new priest was for many years during his initial formation phase.
