Rio Grande, Argentina – November 2024 - From 7 to 10 November, Salesian houses in the province of Tierra del Fuego celebrated with various events in La Misión, in the Rio Grande, the journey of 150 years of Salesian presence in Argentina, under the motto "Your father's dreams have crossed borders". On Friday 8th, the Mission Expo was held, attended by students from the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria School, who presented the House to the schools and families of Río Grande who visited the exhibition. Saturday 9th was the central event to celebrate the beginning of the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Salesians in Argentina. Then the central Mass at the beginning of the 150th anniversary. Finally, on Sunday 10th, a Eucharist of thanksgiving was celebrated for the missionaries who arrived in these lands.
