Lawaan, Philippines – The Agape Youth Camp was held at the Don Bosco Formation Center-Lawaan (DBYC) from 10 to 12 July. The event was attended by young people from various sodalities and was accompanied by Fr Vince Michael Sabal, SDB, Youth Ministry Delegate, Fr Erwin Joey Cabilan, SDB, and the DBYC leaders. During the first day, after welcoming the young people, Fr Sabal spoke to the participants about the life of St John Bosco. The following day, a workshop was held by Kuya Juvanil Alvarado, DBYC leader, to develop and strengthen the participants' skills in critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. Afterwards, the young people carried out an activity where they put the acquired knowledge into practice. The day ended with a moment of recollection and sharing inspired by the theme "the circle of love". On the last day Fr Cabilan presided at the mass and later the young people carried out some work as part of their preparation in the field. After visiting the Gallego Private Resort in Biasong Talisay, the participants carried out sports and leisure activities.
