Puerto Rico – Promise of three new Salesian Cooperators

Aguadilla, Puerto Rico – May 2024 - On 24 May the feast of Mary Help of Christians, three new Salesian Cooperators at the Centro Don Bosco 88 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, made their promises. The Eucharist, celebrated in the St Joseph the Worker parish of Aguadilla, was celebrated by Fr Jorge González Santiago, National Delegate of the Association, and Fr Omar Antonio Yáñez, parish priest, concelebrated. The promise was received by the Provincial Coordinator, Franklin Ortega, who encouraged the Association to continue growing in Puerto Rico and thus strengthen the Salesian Family present on the island. Fr José Pastor Ramírez, Superior of the Salesian Province of the Antilles (ANT), sent a message to the newly-promised. The World Councillor for the Region, Martín Calderón, also sent greetings to the new members.
