Kokopo, Papua New Guinea – December 2023 – The month just ended was intense and filled with activities for the Salesian Cooperators in Kokopo, Papua New Guinea. Since the beginning of Advent, the Salesian Cooperators have conducted a series of awareness programmes in the villages belonging to the parish of Mary Help of Christians, such as Tobera, Malex and Ramale. On Christmas Day, the activity also extended to the parish of Rakunai. On St Stephen's Day, 26 December, gifts were given to the 180 families belonging to the parish of Mary Help of Christians. On the same day, after Mass, a moment of celebration was organised, with songs and dances. This annual event is the result of a great collaboration between all the members of the Salesian Family and the friends of Don Bosco.
