João Pessoa, Brazil - October 2023 - A National Meeting of Salesian Brothers was held in João Pessoa, Paraíba from 25 to 29 October, involving representatives from Argentina and São Paulo. In the programme, the participants reflected on important topics such as "community vocation", Salesian holiness and Pope Francis' Rescript authorising the Office of Major Superior being conferred on non-clerical members of Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. The meeting was also attended by Salesian Brother Yuri Carvalho from the Province of São João Bosco (BBH), who gave a presentation on the Don Bosco Green Alliance project. There were discussion groups and plenary sessions to hear the contributions of the participants, as well as moments of religious devotion and walks along the local beaches. Finally, during the meeting, the figure of the Salesian Brother Saint Artemides Zatti was recalled, as a shining example of service to the most needy, sick and poor.
