Caracas, Venezuela - April 2023 - During Holy Week, the Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN) organized "Salesian Missionary Discipleship" activities under the motto "Like Mary, stand up, let us go and serve." More than two thousand young people gathered in the various Salesian presences to go and proclaim the Gospel to children, youth and adults in the country's peripheries. "Easter Children," "Easter Youth," and "Easter Adults" celebrations were animated in this way. The "Salesian Missionary Disciples" visited homes, orphanages and nursing homes, and animated several Stations of the Cross. In addition, Vocational Mission Day was celebrated, which left a strong impression in the hearts of the young missionaries. The young people returned to their homes happy to have touched the hearts of many people with their testimonies.
