Lviv, Ukraine - January 2023 - As communicated by the Superior of the "Mary Help of Christians" Vice-Province of Ukraine (UKR), Fr. Mykhaylo Chaban, despite the daily bombings, people welcomed by Salesian communities in Ukraine found a way to celebrate Christmas together, last January 7, according to the Julian calendar. In the "Mariupol" refugee camp, a feast was organized for about 300 refugees; in Vynnyky, a Christmas dinner was prepared for more than fifty refugees; and the same was done in Lviv-Pokrova, in the family home housing 65 youngsters.
