Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - May 28, 2022 - On the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, at the "Don Bosco Xuan Hiep" complex, Msgr. Dominic Nguyen Van Manh, Bishop of Da Lat, ordained three Salesians as deacons (Joseph Ho Chinh, Anton Ngo Manh Lam, and Joseph Pham Van Thong) and seven others as priests (Peter Nguyen Van Chien, Joseph Nguyen Ho Diep, Joseph Tran Bao Lam, Joseph Vu Dang Hoang Oanh, Joseph Nguyen Cao Thai, Joseph Cao Duy Vu, and Joseph Trinh Van Vinh). The solemn and composed celebration was attended by many Salesians, led by the Provincial of the "St. John Bosco" Province of Vietnam, and members of the Salesian Family, benefactors, friends, and relatives of the newly ordained. In his homily at the Mass, Msgr. Van Manh had urged the 10 candidates to be faithful to their mission of serving the youth following the example of Jesus the Good Shepherd.
