Brazil - Salesians take part in the 24th General Elective Assembly of the Conference of Religious of Brazil

Brasilia, Brazil - July 2016 - The 24th General Elective Assembly of the Conference of Religious of Brazil (CRB National) was held from 11 to 15 July.  There were 520 participants, including four Salesians: Fr Orestes Fistarol (Provincial BBH), Fr Nivaldo Pessinatti (Provincial BRE); Fr Asídio Deretti (Provincial BPA); and the Salesian Brother Geraldo Aleixo (BBH - Coordinator of the CRB-Tocantins region). Sr Maria Inês Ribeiro was re-elected Chairperson of the National CRB for the 2016-2019 triennium.
