Beirut, Lebanon - October 2021 - On Tuesday 5 October, Fr Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, Councilor for the Mediterranean Region, began his Extraordinary Visitation to the Salesian Province of the Middle East (MOR), conducted on behalf of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime. Having landed at Beirut airport, in Lebanon, the Regional Councilor was welcomed by the local Salesian community and the young people. In the coming days of the visit to Lebanon, scheduled until Sunday 10 October, there will be meetings with the youth of the oratory, children and students, Iraqi and Syrian refugees, and the councils of the Educational-Pastoral Community, as well as with lay collaborators. On the first day, Fr Pérez Godoy began by visiting the Salesian community and the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa.
