It was - as has been the case for some time now - a moment of online training that involved forty-two secretaries in three shifts lasting about two hours each. It was coordinated by Fr Stefano Vanoli, Secretary General, with the collaboration of Fr Patrick Anthonyraj.
Due to the change of many Provincial Secretaries since the last occasion of residential formation held five years ago, this meeting was necessary to illustrate and study various procedures for updating the personal data of the confreres and of the houses of the Congregation.
A platform was built and made available to the Provincial Secretaries for updating the data and statistics of the Congregation five years ago. The transfer and induction of new secretaries required the communication of the information concerning this online platform.
For this purpose, the software engineer Sandro D’Ambrosio along with the Secretary General, demonstrated the data management program and responded to the numerous questions regarding the main functions of the program itself.
The meeting was held in English and Italian and saw the participation of the following provinces in three time slots:
- from 08.15 to 10.30 (English language): AFE - INA - INB - INC - IND - ING - INH - INK - INM - INN - INP - INS - INT - LKC;
- from 11.00 to 13.00 (Italian language): BEN - FRB - GER - ICP - IME - INE - ISI - MOR - PLN - PLO - PLE - PLS - SSM - SMX - UPS - UKR;
- from 16.30 to 18.30 (Italian language): ARN - BOL - CAM - CIL - COB - ECU - MEG - PAR - PER - SUE - SUO – VEN.
The next meeting is convened for Saturday 11 September, Rome time zone, and will see the participation of the following Provincial Secretaries:
- from 08.30 to 10.30 (English): AFM - AUL - CIN - FIN - FIS - GBR - GIA - IRL - KOR - MLT - MYM - PGS - THA - TLS - VIE - ZMB;
- from 11.00 to 13.00 (Italian language): ACC - AET - AFO - AFC - AFW - AGL - ATE - AUS - MDG - CEP - CRO - ICC - ILE - SLK - SLO - UNG;
- from 16.30 to 18.30 (Italian language): ANG - BRE - BBH - BCG - BMA - BSP - BPA - POR - MOZ - URU.
