India - Salesians help inhabitants of the "snake charmers village"
New Delhi, India - June 12, 2020 - Members of the Bosco Educational and Development Society (BREADS) of the Don Bosco Technical Institute in the district of Mohanlalganj-Lucknow, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, distributed food in the village of Sausiran, under the jurisdiction of the Banthra police station. The village of Sausiran, long considered the "snake charmers village", is currently on the verge of marginalization due to the total loss of livelihood of its inhabitants, due to the disastrous effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
