The call is open to all those involved in direct actions or research on Salesian missions throughout the American continent.
The articles can cover historical aspects, experiences of the present, relevant historical profiles, theological and pastoral intersections in an intercultural perspective, commitments of the mission with the territories and life of native peoples or any other topic that generates an interpretation of the present from a critical and proactive perspective, in accordance with the horizon of historical reparation of the mission towards native peoples.
The articles and contributions will be published in the Memoirs of the Salesian Missionary Congress under headings used by Abya Yala, Salesian Polytechnic University of Ecuador (UPS) and Salesian University of Argentina (UNISAL).

The American Salesian Missionary Congress "Entrelazando Caminos" aims to blend the rich Salesian missionary history with critical reflection, in order to promote a more effective cultural evangelisation in America. It is an initiative carried out as part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the First Salesian Missionary Expedition on American soil, and is organised jointly by the UPS of Ecuador, UNISAL and the Salesian Provinces of Ecuador and Argentina.
