01 – Bratislava, Slovakia – November 2016 – From December 4th to 8th, the Rector Major of the Salesians, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, visited the Province “Mary Help of Christians” of Slovakia.
02 – Kurunegala, Sri Lanka – November 11th, 2016 – In the context of his visit to the Vice-Province of Sri Lanka, 10-12 November, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, accompanied by his secretary, Fr. Horacio López, by the Superior of the Vice-Province, Fr. Joseph Almeida, and by the members of his Council, visited the Salesian Institute of Civil Engineering in Metiyagane.
03 – Tiruchy, India – November 2016 – From November 13th to 16th, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, visited the Province of Tiruchy, accompanied by his secretary Fr. Horacio López and by Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga, Councillor for South Asia Region.
04 – Hyderabad, India – November 2016 – From November 16th to 20th, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, visited the Province of Hyderbad, accompanied by his secretary Fr. Horacio López and by Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga, Councillor for South Asia Region.
05 – Bonn, Germany – November 2016 – From November 26th to 30th, the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, did an animation visit to the Province of Germany accompanied by his secretary Fr. Horacio López and by the Economer General, Bro. Jean Paul Muller, SDB.
06 – Rome, Italy – November 2016 – From November 16th to 20th, there was the Seminar of the theme “Accompanying the Life of Prayer”, organized and guided by Fr. Fabio Attard, Councillor for Youth Ministry, and by the team of his Dicastery. About 70 people in charge from 32 countries and 41 Salesian Provinces and Vice-Provinces participated in the encounter.
07 – Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo – November 2016 – From November 5th to 15th, the Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Mother Yvonne Reungoat, did a visit to the FMA Province of “Our Lady of Africa” of Central Africa (AFC), that this year celebrates 90 years of its presence.
08 – Turin, Italy – November 6th, 2016 – On November 6th, in the “Ferrante Apporti” detention home in Turin, there was the celebration of the Jubilee for Detainees, presided over by Fr. Domenico Ricca, Salesian and chaplain of the detention home. The celebration took place simultaneously with the Mass celebrated in the Basilica of St. Peters, which was presided over by Pope Francis.
