01. Turin, Italy - June 2022 - Eight Provincials and Vice-Province Superiors from five continents and six Salesian regions participated in the Formation and Accompaniment Course for newly appointed Provincials at the Salesian Motherhouse in Turin. The Rector Major and his Council accompanied them in the intensive course held from June 8 to 24.
02. Moncalieri, Italy - June 2022 – On June 16-17 the Monastery of the Visitation in Moncalieri hosted the relic of the heart of St. Francis de Sales on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Saint's death. On June 17 the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, presided over Mass in the presence of the relic, concelebrated by ten priests, including the General Councilor for Formation, Fr. Ivo Coelho.
03. Budapest, Hungary - June 2022 - On Saturday, June 4, at the Salesian facility of the Clarisseum, in Budapest, there was a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Rector Major, Fr. Á.F. Artime, at the end of which there was the blessing and placement of the Reliquary of Blessed Stephen Sándor.
04. Turin, Italy - June 2022 - This year the Feast of Thanksgiving to the Rector Major was celebrated in Valdocco, with a rich program. The central moment of the feast was the Eucharist presided over by Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime on June 24 in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians.
05. Brasilia, Brazil - June 2022 - From June 7 to 10, the meeting of Salesian publishers from the Interamerica and America South Cone Regions was held, with the participation of representatives from various countries, as well as some guests from Spain and the presence of Fr. Ricardo Campoli, member of the Sector for Social Communication, Responsible for Salesian Publishers and Radio.
06. Perugia, Italy - June 2022 - As part of the celebrations for the centenary of the presence of the Salesians in the city of Perugia on June 20, the Rector Major, Fr. Á.F. Artime, was welcomed by the Mayor, Andrea Romizi, in the Sala dei Notari, for the ceremony of the Salesian Institution’s Inscription in the city’s Roll of Honor.
07. Nairobi, Kenya - June 2022 - After almost five months, the Extraordinary Visitor "ad neutum" and "pro tempore," Fr Václav Klement, concluded the Extraordinary Visit to the East Africa Province (AFE), composed of four countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, and South Sudan.
08. Turin, Italy - June 2022 - On June 1-2, the semi-annual General Assembly of the Don Bosco Network (DBN), the network of Salesian organizations and entities committed to development, was held in Valdocco. The meeting was attended by Fr. Alfred Maravilla, General Councilor for Missions, and Br. Jean-Paul Muller, the General Economer.
