01. Rome, Italy - December 2021 - As per tradition, a new edition of the Accompaniment and Formation Course was held during the plenary sessions of the General Council, which involved 16 recently appointed Superiors of Provinces and Vice Provinces.
02. Rome, Italy - December 2021 - On December 27, at the Generalate of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and in the presence of Mother General Chiara Cazzuola, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, presented the Strenna 2022 “Do all through love, nothing through constraint."
03. Piła, Poland - December 2021 - From 28 August to 18 December Fr Václav Klement SDB, Extraordinary Visitor "ad nutum" and "pro tempore", conducted the Extraordinary Visitation to the Piła Province (PLN) on behalf of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime.
04. Algiers, Algeria - December 2021 - From 3 to 6 December Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councilor for the Missions, visited Algeria, at the invitation of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Algiers, Msgr. Paul Jacques Marie Desfarges, SJ.
05. Corigliano d'Otranto, Italy - 4 December 2021 - The Salesian house in Corigliano d'Otranto has turned 120, celebrated with a Mass, a conference, and the inauguration of the "Buona Stoffa" Day Center and the multifunctional hall of PGS. Present were Fr Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, Councilor for the Mediterranean Region, and Fr Angelo Santorsola, IME Provincial.
06. Cebu, Philippines - December 2021 - Following the typhoon Rai/Odette that hit the Philippines on December 16, the Salesians and the Salesian Family immediately took action to provide relief to the population with various initiatives carried out thanks also to international solidarity.
07. Tijuana, Mexico - 14 December 2021 - On 14 December the “Don Bosco” Salesian Reception Center was inaugurated in Tijuana, a space dedicated to sheltering single women and children, especially migrants.
08. Lahore, Pakistan - December 2021 - In the second week of December the Salesian community of Lahore distributed humanitarian aid to two hundred Afghan refugee families in the Peshwar community.
