Identity
"Radio Don Bosco" (RDB) is an educational and cultural radio of Catholic inspiration. It is a "Malagasy" radio, at the service of the entire population of Madagascar, which is why RDB exclusively uses the Malagasy language for its programmes.
It is a Salesian radio that is inspired by the Salesian educative and pastoral project for the integral education of young people, especially the poorest and most abandoned. For this reason, it privileges educational concepts suitable for the youth world: music, theatre, sports, cultural world, interpersonal communication, emotional problems, world of work, development, political education, meaning of life, religion, faith and moral conduct.
RDB gives priority to all activities and initiatives aimed at personal development and education, as well as the social, civil and economic development of the country.
It is a radio for everyone and wants to be loved by everyone, hence the slogan "the more I listen to it, the more I love it". RDB's programmes are aimed at the entire population (adolescents, young adults and adults), but with a particular focus on young people.
