Uganda – May 2024 – From Sunday 5 to Tuesday 7 May 2024 Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, is on an animation visit to Uganda, to be precise in the Palabek refugee camp. It is a trip with a clear evocative message, in one of the last international commitments of Cardinal Á.F. Artime as Rector Major. Following this, the 10th Successor of Don Bosco will continue his visit to other African Salesian presences, with the intention of accompanying the further development and growth of this flourishing Salesian presence, for the good of young Africans and those of the whole world, and of ensuring the closeness of the Congregation to the African people.
