Breña, Peru - 1910 - The Salesian school in Breña, flagship of Salesian schools in Peru, celebrates 125 years of institutional history. On 15 January 1900,  Fr Carlos Pane started the student section of the Salesian house in Breña, which became known as ‘Colegio Salesiano de Lima’ (today Colegio Salesiano ‘San Francisco de Sales’). In this photo, preserved by the Salesian Historical Archives, Peru, dating back to 1910, ten years after the foundation, one can see the façade of the first headquarters of the Salesian Institutesc hool which was located on the old camino a la Magdalena.
