Around 1,700 young people from Salesian pastoral presences participate in Easter meetings prepared by the two Provinces of the Salesians of Spain, organized in separate places and according to different ages, from 24 March (Holy Thursday) to Easter Sunday.
In the Province of Saint James the Greater, based in Madrid, the theme chosen for this year is "Jesus and you and nobody else." It is worth noting the celebration of Easter youth of Cambados for adolescents from age 12 up to university students; as well as the Passover celebrations, which will be in three venues: Arevalo, La Adrada and Mohernando. There were other proposals: Easter for the young and Easter for the Families, which will be celebrated at Mohernando and Somali; the Rural Easter, the missionary volunteer; and Easter on the Camino de Santiago, for those who wish to have a Holy Week pilgrimage.
From the Province of Mary Help of Christians, based in Sevilla, there is an invitation to young people to celebrate Easter under the motto "Bet on tenderness", in the context of Mercy. The cities that will host the Easter youth events are Alcoy, Alicante, Antequera, Burriana, Cartagena, El Campello, Elche, Ibi, La Orotava, Puebla de la Calzada, Sanlucar la Mayor, Torrelles de Llobregat, Valencia and Zaragoza. In those same places, on the weekend of March 12-13 they had some meetings in preparation for Easter for groups of teenagers "Friends of Dominic Savio".
Living Easter means living the experience of a God who has loved us and who continues to love us.
