During his speech, Fr. Ysidro Ramírez, President of the Organizing Committee, highlighted the significance of the event:
"These Salesian Games are a living testimony of the values that guide us—love, reason, honesty, solidarity, respect, companionship, and trust. Here, we are not just seeking medals; we aim to form upright individuals committed to the well-being of their community and nation."

The event was attended by notable figures from politics, sports, and business, including the Mayor of Santo Domingo, Carolina Mejía, the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kelvin Cruz, and other prominent national authorities.

The opening ceremony began with a prayer by Fr. Carlos Nabel García, Vice Provincial of the Salesians of the Antilles (ANT), who entrusted the success and safety of the games to God.
